Fernando Morales, DC

As a Doctor of Chiropractic my goals are to provide quality care for every one of my patients and to treat every one of my patients as if they were family. As a former athlete, I know what it is like to be injured and in pain. Using my skills as a doctor, I will attempt to maximize therapeutic effect during treatments and minimize injury time using the latest physical medicine has to offer.
I was born in Galveston, Texas and moved to Santa Fe, Texas when I was one year old. I attended Santa Fe High School and participated in many sports all of my life. As a child I played soccer, basketball gymnastics and baseball. In high school I was a member of the football team, participated in track, and was a member of the powerlifting program. Upon graduation I was accepted into the University of Texas at Austin and after a couple of years learning my strengths in scholastics, I followed my roots and pursued a bachelors degree in Kinesiology specializing in Health Promotion and Fitness with a minor in Business Administration. During my first year in school I became affiliated with Capital Gymnastics and began teaching gymnastics and tumbling classes in the evenings. Interestingly enough, the UT cheerleaders worked out at the cheer gym and convinced me to try out. Thus begins my cheerleading career. I have been lucky enough to travel all over the country as a cheerleader cheering on the Longhorns everywhere from San Diego in the Holiday Bowl to New Orleans in the Final Four. As a cheerleading coach I have been able to help future athletes hone their skills for competitive and collegiate programs. I have also competed routines with open squads for NCA, ASC, and Americas Best cheerleading companies. After graduating from Texas I moved back to Houston to enroll in chiropractic school at Texas Chiropractic College. While attending chiropractic school I have been lucky enough to work part time at the largest competitive cheerleading program in Houston, University Cheer.
As a doctor I find it important to stay abreast of the latest topics concerning chiropractic and health. I am constantly learning about new and exciting treatments and therapies. I am currently a fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA), a certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner (CKP), have training in Graston Technique, and I have 100 hours in neurology training (GRT). I have recently finished all 120 hours required for the Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioners (CCSP) program, making me a board certified sports chiropractic physician. I am also a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).
My hobbies, when I have free time, include working out, cycling, jogging, playing golf, playing frisbee golf, and recently competing in triathlons. I have been married for almost half a decade to my loving and supporting wife Sharon, with whom I have the newest love of my life my baby girl Krysta! I also have a mild addiction to coffee and you can find me at a Starbucks almost everyday.
